But it is VERY IMPORTANT to remember. Restoring your ipod will ERASE all the content you have on your ipod! So make sure it is well backed up in iTunes, and that you can sync all of it once the ipod is restored.
Restoring the ipod’s factory settings is very similiar to updating the ipod’s software and done from the same window. Check out the updating software step-by-step video for more instructions.
]]>And you’ll do it via iTunes!!!!
Here are some more details from MacRumors.
]]>When talking about the different ipod models out there, the write, Jay Dougherty, encourages people who are thinking about buying an ipod, to go to an apple store, and get a real feeling (in your hand!) of the different ipods. That’s a very good idea, cause it’s exactly what you are going to do with your ipod.
But to the question: “I jog, which ipod should I use?” Dougherty forgets the perfect ipod for that kind of exercise. The ipod shuffle! It’s the smallest, very light, and plays music, which is the only think you need. It’s not like you are going to watch videos while you jog!

I think a lot of people, who are not custom to work with computers, are quite surprised by the fact that they need itunes in order to manage their ipod. Thus making how to use itunes a critical issue for them. And lets face it: itunes is not an easy software for everyone.
Don’t take my word for it. I’ve googled “itunes” and “difficult to use” and got 73,700 answers! It is truly a common problem shared by a lot of people. This guy on yahoo answers was telling he couldn’t find an easy way to mark more than one song to be played in a row. Wouldn’t you expect this to one of the more easiest tasks?!?! something like how to use itunes in the most basic way?
The sad thing is that some people won’t ask how to use itunes, they’ll just give up! And that’s just a shame. All these people need are some good quality, super organized and detailed ipod instructions. The kind “normal-and-not-high-tech” people would understand. That would make a world of a difference between owning anipod and actually using and enjoying it.
]]>It allows you to download songs to your ipod touch directly. The next time you sync the ipod and your computer, the songs will transfer to the computer as well.
Here’s a good review by gizmodo.com I found about the iTunes Wi-fi Music Store.
It seems that it is easier to search, preview and download songs via the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store than your regular iTunes – which is a big thing, considering many people find the regular iTunes too complex.
But there some small faults the review points out as well, which are worth mentioning. Like, no free download of the week!
Here’s the full review.
