Hi Alberto.

So you're having some wi-fi problems... do any of the other internet applications work? youtube?

We have a video that deals with this exact subject: internet connection. How to do it, and what to check for. Look it up in our ipod touch video guides.

Hi Kenneth.

You can't delete music directly from you ipod.
All the content on your ipod is controlled by itunes.

Check out our itunes&ipod video guides for the videos about syncing and trasfering content from itunes to your ipod.

well rhay,
I think you'll have to restore your ipod touch to its original factory settings.
We also have a video explaining how to that in full detail.
Hope this helps.

What a problem!

Well, first of all, the ipod should unlock itself automatically once connected to itunes.
Are you sure you are doing this correctly? It should really be very easy, you know...
I hope you understand the rest of the ipod's stuff...
Check out our ipod touch video guides for more details on how to operate your ipod touch.

Hi Jose.

My best advise would be to follow the step-by-step ipod&itunes video guides on how to setup and operate itunes and your ipod.

If you are using Windows, it is recommended that you use Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Justin,
Thank you so much for your great feedback :-)

Unfortunately I have to tell you that currently there is no way to copy/paste on the ipod touch. It seems like an obvious feature, doesn't it?
But there are rumours that it will be available in the iphone soon, and then probably on the ipod touch.

Paul-

Thanks for the quick reply, and straight-foward answers. In regards to the copy/paste feature, I was wondering if the touch has that capability from within the Safari browser. For example if I find something within one page but want to google it for more info. Is there a way from within Safari to copy the text in question and then be able to simply paste it into google rather than having to flip back and forth between pages to check the spelling? Sorry for the lengthy question, but I wanted to be sure I explained of adequately this time.
Thanks in advance for all of your help, you've been one of the best resources on the net for n00bs that I've found. Keep it up!

Hi Bennie.

Changing your ipod's name is easily done via iTunes.
Connect the ipod to the computer, and the ipod will appear in itunes.
Select the ipod.
And now click again on the name of the ipod.
Type the new name and enter.

Hi Justin.

I'm not sure what copy/cut/paste you're talking about. Generally speaking all the editing is done via itunes.
You can see all the imoprtant features in our guides.

The CAPS option allows you to double tap the shift button (when using a keyboard) and then all the letters you type will be uppercase.

Hope this helps.

Hey Paul -
I recently purchased the iPod Touch. It's my first Apple product, and so far I'm really enjoying it! However (this is most likely due to my inexperience with the brand) I'm having difficulty in trying to locate what I consider to be some very basic and fundamental commands/options. First, does the Touch have the copy/cut/paste ability? If so, how do I use it? Secondly I turned on the option in the General Settings area to enable the use of CAPS
Lock, but haven't been able to figure that one out either.
Please help!

Hi Gaby.

Installing iTunes is FREE! You do not need to pay for it!
Songs, videos, etc. might cost money, but not the actual software.

Check out our step-by-step guide to download and install iTunes, under this link:
http://www.ipod-manual.com/

It is a must for your iPod Touch to work.

Thanks!
Paul.

Hi Ivan.

Regarding videos and movies:

The settings whether to sync different media types and how to sync them, appear in different tabs.

Check out our step-by-step video guides for detailed instructions on how to automatically and manually sync your ipod and itunes, including video and movie.
The guides are here: http://www.ipod-manual.com/
