The number of web applications that are written especially for the ipod touch is booming! And here’s another cool one. It’s called Tap&Go and it allows you to:
- Browse maps
- Add markers to any specific points.
- AND BEST OF ALL: Share your maps and markers with whoever you want.
So the new answer to: “Where are you?”, is just a click away: “I’m on the beach, right HERE.”
Check out Tap&Go.

It looks like Australia is finally getting its share of the new ipods. Here’s an interesting review about the ipod classic and the ipod nano directly from “down under”.
What I would like to know is how they got those amazing battery numbers in their tests?

Did you hear the news?
The iPod Touch will be “opened” around Feb 2008. This means anyone can develope new applications for it, and Apple will even help.
As this site explains, this kind of thing is always followed by a flood of programs, and games being one of the most popular ones. So if you are a games fan on your ipod touch, you are in for a treat!

I found an article addressing some questions first time ipod users might have about itunes and ipods. It’s pretty neat. However, I have one answer I totally agree with, and one that I totally disagree with.

I couldn’t believe it at first, but turns out “how to use itunes” is a very popular question! Before I actually started using it, it seemed to me that ipods are very easy to operate. But after I played with iTunes a bit, I realized it is not necessarily so.

I recently found these great photos of the ipod touch. This guy took pictures of almost every feature the ipod touch has. Almost like making an ipod touch manual but only with pictures.
Click on the photo below to see more of his work.

The most exciting new feature in the new ipod touch is its internet connection and applications. If there is one good reason to look for new and updated ipod touch instructions, this is it. You’re literally holding the internet in the palm of your hand!

Here’s what I think should be on the top every ipod classic instructions book: you will never run out of storage space!!!
This is especially true when it comes to music. On the 80GB ipod classic you can store 20,000 songs. On the 160GB ipod classic you can store 40,000. You don’t need no ipod classic instructions to realize we are talking about approx 3000 albums!
